The Sunshades Eyewear sales department comprises of six teams of account managers and merchandisers who service each specific sales channel. The different teams look after major (multi door) retailers, optometry and sunglass specialty, surf/youth, fashion and pharmacy. These teams cover over 4000 stores across every state of Australia and New Zealand. The field team is the face of Sunshades Eyewear at a store level and makes time to build relationships with store staff, conduct staff trainings, communicate store feedback to head office, ensure Sunshades product is ticketed correctly, cleaned and merchandised and that point of sale is correctly displayed. On a store by store basis they ensure best sellers are always in stock, slow sellers are rotated, stock counts are conducted regularly and that stock is checked against model levels and sell through results are achieved. This presence and relationship at store level ensures we have the best positioning and presentation in all stores across all sales channels.
